The detector communicates with the central EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller via a secure Jeweller radio protocol, ensuring stable two-way communication up to 1700 m in open space. It features tamper protection, jamming detection, and synchronized activation of all alarms in the system.

The sensors monitor temperature dynamics, reacting to both threshold breaches and abnormal temperature increases. Upon triggering, the siren emits an audible signal that complies with EN 54-3, accompanied by LED indication. All devices within the system alert simultaneously.

Power is supplied by a pre-installed CR123A/CR2 battery, providing up to 5 years of autonomous operation with a standard polling interval of 36 seconds. An additional backup CR2032 battery supports Tamper functionality.

Installation is simplified with the SmartBracket mount, allowing setup without disassembling the device. Adding the detector to the system is quick via a mobile app and QR code. LED indicators show the current status.

The Ajax EN54 FireProtect Heat/Sounder transmits all events (fire alarm, fault, tamper, battery status, communication status) to the monitoring station or security company via supported protocols (Contact ID, ADEMCO 685, SIA).
