Kingston DDR4 16GB memory module comes in DIMM form factor and features 288-pin gold-plated connectors for reliable connectivity. Architecture based on eight 1G x 8-bit FBGA components provides compactness and efficient integration into computer systems. CL22 latency with 22-22-22 timings optimizes data exchange speed per JEDEC standard at 3200 MHz frequency. Board height of 31.25 mm eases installation in standard cases, while on-board I2 serial presence-detect SPD EEPROM simplifies configuration. Fixed burst chop of 4 and burst length of 8 via mode register set, with selectable BC4 or BL8 on-the-fly, add flexibility in operation. Single-rank structure with 16 internal banks divided into 4 groups of 4 banks each optimizes data access. Module complies with RoHS and is halogen-free, making it an eco-friendly choice.

Energy efficiency

VDD and VDDQ supply voltage of 1.2V typical balances performance and power consumption at 3200 MHz frequency. Low-power auto self refresh LPASR reduces electricity usage in standby modes. Data bus inversion DBI and on-die VREFDQ generation and calibration optimize power during data transfer. Nominal and dynamic on-die termination ODT for data, strobe, and mask signals minimizes energy losses. VPP voltage of 2.5V typical and VDDSPD from 2.2V to 3.6V ensure stable operation with low heat output.
