The camera is equipped with a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, providing crisp images at a resolution of 2880×1620 with a frame rate of up to 25 fps. The fixed 2.8 mm lens offers a wide field of view of approximately 100°–110°, making it ideal for monitoring large indoor spaces, hallways, or open areas.

Thanks to HybridLight technology, the DomeCam Mini HL automatically switches between infrared and white LED illumination, delivering clear color video even in complete darkness. The illumination range reaches up to 15 meters, which is sufficient for most standard surveillance tasks.

The True WDR function enables the camera to handle complex lighting conditions, balancing bright and dark areas in the frame and preserving fine details.

Built-in AI analytics allow the camera to detect and distinguish between humans, vehicles, and animals, significantly reducing false alarms and improving the accuracy of notifications.

The durable metal housing has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and IK08 impact protection, making it suitable for use in areas exposed to vandalism. The camera operates reliably in temperatures from −30 °C to +60 °C, with humidity up to 90%.

For video storage, the camera supports microSD cards up to 256 GB (V30 recommended) and can also work with NVRs that support HDDs up to 16 TB.

Network capabilities include 100 Mbps Ethernet with PoE (802.3af/at) support, allowing both power and data transmission via a single cable. Alternatively, the camera can be powered by 12 V DC. It uses modern video compression standards H.264 and H.265 to optimize bandwidth and storage.

Strong emphasis is placed on data protection: mTLS authentication, Secure Boot, and secure OTA updates make the system highly resistant to unauthorized access.

The camera is equipped with a digital microphone for synchronized audio and video recording, supporting codecs such as G.711 μLAW/ALAW, G.726, and G.722.
