The camera is equipped with an 8-megapixel CMOS sensor (3840×2160), delivering crisp, detailed video at up to 20 frames per second in 4K format. The fixed 2.8 mm lens provides a wide field of view of approximately 100°–110°, making it ideal for monitoring large open areas, yards, parking lots, and perimeters.

HybridLight illumination combines infrared LEDs for discreet night monitoring with a powerful white LED for full-color video even in total darkness. The camera automatically switches modes depending on the conditions, ensuring reliable coverage at distances up to 50 meters.

With True WDR technology, the camera produces balanced images in challenging lighting conditions, keeping key details — such as faces, license plates, and small objects — clear and recognizable.

The built-in AI analytics allow the camera to distinguish between humans, animals, and vehicles, significantly reducing false alarms and improving the effectiveness of the entire security system.

The metal housing ensures reliability and durability, with IP65 dust and water resistance and IK08 impact resistance ratings. The camera is designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions and can operate in temperatures from −30 °C to +60 °C with up to 90% humidity.

For storage, the BulletCam HL supports microSD cards up to 256 GB (V30 recommended) and can also be connected to an NVR with an HDD of up to 16 TB. Data transmission is handled via a 100 Mbps Ethernet interface with PoE (802.3af/at) support, allowing both power and data to be delivered over a single cable. Alternatively, it can be powered by 12 V DC. Video is efficiently compressed using H.264 and H.265 codecs to optimize bandwidth and storage.

Advanced data protection features include mTLS authentication, Secure Boot, and signed OTA updates, ensuring compliance with modern security and privacy standards.

The camera comes with a built-in digital microphone for synchronized audio and video recording, supporting codecs such as G.711 μLAW/ALAW, G.726, and G.722.

Thanks to integration with the Ajax ecosystem, the BulletCam HL (8 MP, 2.8 mm, white) can operate as part of a complete security solution: triggering automation scenarios, activating sirens or lights upon detection, sending push notifications, working with NVRs, building video walls, and configuring privacy zones.
