Communication with devices is established via the proprietary Jeweller radio protocol, delivering reliable two-way communication over distances up to 2000 meters in open space. The system can be expanded using ReX range extenders, increasing wireless coverage up to 35 km².

The hub supports multiple communication channels, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and dual SIM cards (2G/3G/4G), ensuring robust connectivity with automatic channel switching in case of network failure. All data transmissions are encrypted, meeting the latest cybersecurity standards.

Ajax EN54 Fire Hub is certified to meet European fire safety standards EN 54-2, EN 54-4, EN 54-21, and EN 54-25, making it suitable for certified fire protection projects. Additionally, it complies with EN 50131 (Grade 2) standards for security systems.

The control panel features backup power, providing autonomous operation for up to 24 or 72 hours depending on the installed battery capacity. Built-in sounders and LED indicators notify users of alarms, malfunctions, or zone disconnections. All notifications are also sent through Ajax mobile and desktop apps, allowing for remote monitoring and control.
