Bypass (Dimmer) [55] is a bypass for a dimmer switch designed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of lamps consuming less than 8 V·A. It eliminates flickering of LED lamps and reduces the minimum load required for the dimmer to work correctly with the lamps. The device is compatible with LightSwitch (Dimmer) Jeweller and third-party dimmers but is sold separately from LightSwitch (Dimmer).
