The battery has a nominal voltage of 7.4 V and a capacity of 10 Ah, enabling the control panel or range extender to operate for up to three days in full autonomy. Installation is simple and secure: the battery is inserted into a dedicated internal slot within the Fire Hub or Fire ReX casing and fixed in place until a distinct click is heard, ensuring reliable contact and safe operation.

The battery is engineered to withstand environmental conditions, operating within a temperature range of –10°C to +40°C and up to 85% relative humidity. Once installed, the battery’s charge status is continuously monitored and displayed in real-time through Ajax mobile and desktop applications. When external power is restored, the battery automatically begins recharging without requiring manual intervention.

The EN54 Internal Battery (72h) is exclusively compatible with Ajax EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller and Fire ReX Jeweller. It is not designed for use with other Ajax devices. The battery fully complies with EN54 certification standards, ensuring safe and stable backup power in accordance with European fire safety regulations.
